First and foremost, we select eco products that are able to perform as well as or better than their conventional counterparts. Our staff has personally tested everything that we sell under a variety of circumstances to see if our products stand up to their claims. We are committed to staying ahead of the curve as better products hit the market. We place value on products that have passed independent certification, such as those of Green Seal or the FSC.
We select products that are made from recycled, renewable and local resources. We respect the work of other small businesses and their dedication to a cause. We choose products that are non-toxic or with toxicities that are as low as technologically possible, to make it easier for you to buy products that are free of chemicals that are harmful for the environment or your home.
We only sell products that we can be proud to sell. If it is in our store, you can be sure that it is Eco.
Different products are going to work best in different situations, and green products that are comparable to conventional products are not necessarily applied like conventional products. At EcoHome Improvement, we will work with you step by step and discuss the details of your project in a relaxing setting to help you find what is best for you and your budget without any of the unnecessary oversell. We also offer design consultation services through our newly expanded EcoHome Design Studio. Our showroom features several mini-cabinetry modules and large format samples of nearly all of our products. Swap out cabinet doors, walk on our floors, select the perfect size and shape for your tile backsplash or pick the perfect color for your ideal countertop. We make it easy for you to mix and match our different materials and visualize how each element will come together in your space. For a fee, our designers can also come directly to your home and help you find the best look to suit your personal aesthetic taste.

Bring in your plans when you visit our showroom and with our simple form we will make it easy to find a look that fits your budget. Estimates will arrive in your email box in a matter of days!
If you are unsure of your project’s measurements, we also have a network of installers and contractors who are familiar with our floors, tiles and window-coverings that can come to your home and offer a free estimate for your material and labor costs.
Once you have narrowed down your choices, we offer an extensive library of samples that includes virtually all of our products. We can lend out up to four samples at a time for one week, free of charge. Examine them in your home, under your lighting and surrounded by your furnishings and loved ones, then come back and return them or swap them for more until you find the perfect shade to complement your life.
Our in-store Stains and Sealers Product Selector can help you choose the best stain and sealer for your project. If you bring in some of the material you are working with to our Paint Bar, we will provide you with the products, brushes and instructions to help you find the right color and finish, and then send you out with any pointers to make it easy to finish your project at home.
With our network of installers and contractors, we make it easier for you to find someone with the expertise, location, timeframe and price range to suit your needs. Simply come in to make an appointment with one of our preferred partners or take home a few business cards from some of the many local professionals who regularly choose us as their material supplier.
If you’re planning on doing your project yourself, our friendly associates can ease a lot of the stress by providing detailed instructions or speaking from their experiences.
